Expanded transportation to Colorado Ski Resorts

The Amtrak Winter Park Express had a highly successful inaugural season. For the upcoming ski season, this train will offer expanded service. The Winter Park Express will depart from Union Station in downtown Denver each Saturday and Sunday from January 5 through March 25. In addition, there will be three new “First Friday” round-trips, with a reduced fare of $29 each way on some departures.

The Winter Park Express has 27 round-trip options and over 500 seats on each train. This service allows visiting skiers and riders to travel to Winter Park Resort without renting or setting foot in a car. In addition, from Denver International Airport, it is easy to rent a car or take a shuttle to the 23 most important resorts in the area. There is also a network of flights from Denver to Aspen, Durango, Eagle, Grand Junction, Gunnison, Hayden, Montrose, and Telluride’s ski areas.
